SPIRIT OF THE TREES

The series of works has been inspired by different trees and their essences. The magical aspen turns orange-yellow in October. The branches of the tree of happiness have intertwined into a network. The tree has been split in two, burned and broken, but still alive. The work They Have Seen Many Lives was inspired by Berlin, where I visited the Topographie des Terrors museum. Wasteland grew on the edges of the plot that had seen many periods of history and destruction. The trees intertwined their branches, where the palace garden had once stood. I wondered how everything sprouts and is reborn, despite the fact that eras and people change. The cycle of nature is eternal, and the trees have seen much before us - and will see us after us.
